Study Groups
There are 3 groups.
Thursday morning fellowship
In 1980 a Kenyan minister came to do a mission at Treforest and we started a meeting on Thursday morning that week which has continued non-stop. Many of the ladies (and one or two men) of the church came along and we shared a Bible reading and things which had happened in our lives during the week. There were times when we were about 20 and there were times when we were only 2 or 3. When we sold our building at Treforest we met at one lady’s house, but now that she has moved into a Care Home, we meet in the lounge at Rhydyfelin. About 5 of us now meet - we sing a few songs (we love singing!), have a Bible reading and a few thoughts about how it applies to our lives now and spend some time praying about anything relevant on the day. If anyone would like to come along and share this time, we meet at 9.30 and finish between 11.30 and 12.00.
Bible Study
This group meets on the 2nd, 4th Thursday of each month, meeting at the church at 7.30pm. We have a time of singing and prayer and then some thoughts and discussion on theme we are following. Please check this space for any changes especially during holiday periods.
House Group
This group meets on a Tuesday evening at 8.30pm during term time. Please check web site or phone Sarah on 01443 491930 or 01443 205682 for venue. Each month we have a bible study and prayer meeting and a range of different social events. The majority of events will start at 8.30pm but for some of the socials this may change. The change of time will be listed below.
